The College has an excellent Library and Information Centre, one of the central support services of the institution, which acts as a primary source for information seekers to its students, faculties and researchers. The library has been carefully designed to maximize natural lighting to the users and provide a comfortable seating and reading environment with amicable facilities.

Apart from Industrial training, other training and induction programmes are also organized throughout the year for shaping the career of the students. As a part of curriculum Diploma Pharmacy students undergo practical training not less than five hundred hours spread over a period of not less than three months at licensed Hospitals/Dispensaries.

Duties and Functions of the Library Advisory Committee::

The duties and functions of the Library Advisory Committee shall be as under::
  • 1. Assessment of the library services provided by the library, if necessary, suggesting improvements in library services..
  • 2. To frame rules and regulations time-to-time including guest user policy and library timing.
  • 3. To consider the policy for procurement books and journals to the library.
  • 4. To help in getting recommendations for purchase of new books, journals and magazines for updating the library collection.
  • 5. To review the suggestions put forward by the students and other users of the library and find out remedies.
  • 6. To advise the librarian and other professionals for better library facilities and added services to the users..
  • 7. To advice the librarian to prepare the library budget every current year.
  • 8. To consider and put forward the views of faculty members regarding books and journal selections.
  • 9. Order new inventory from book supply companies.
