YOUTH PHARMA FESTIVAL REPORT

Dadhichi College of pharmacy, Vidya-Vihar, Sundargram, Cuttack, Odisha successfully hosted the 2nd edition of Youth Pharma Festival on “Changing Healthcare Environment and the Role of Pharmacist” and 4th Edition of Odisha Medical Expo (Exhibition of medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals) scheduled from23rd to 25thFebruary, 2024. The concept of our Honorable Prime Minister Sri. Narendra Modi has not only been executed for the first time in Odisha but also in India to recognize the Youth Pharma talents for the betterment of our Nation. The program comprised of twelve segments such as, Start-up summit, Industry academia Interface, Regulatory Introspection, Exploring Expo, Skill Conclave, Legendary Talk-Show, Ideation, Youth Leadership Conclave, Technological Conclave, Intellectual Symposium, National Talent Hunt, Cultural Unity(Ek Bharat Sresth Bharat). Each segment washaving different future aspects.The inauguration of Odisha Medical Expo was held on 23rd Feb 2024 exhibiting various technologically advanced devices and Pharmaceuticals from national and Multinational companies which has given an additional opportunity to the attendees to acquire knowledge on various professional aspects.

The presence of dignitaries, and impressive lineup of scholars from across the nation, the support of sponsors and media partners an array of carefully selected well researched and well-presented papers, all came together to help team YPF to admirably conclude this hugeendeavoratInstitute of Engineers. The event was applauded for twelve concurrent session, Plannery session, one round table discussion, question and answering session, Workshop besides the inaugural and valedictory sessions. This Youth Pharma Festival has, without a shade of doubts, made the Pharma fraternity richer, with the form of scholarly works on different topics. The three days’ event offered opportunities to the participating audiences to interact with activists, academicians, scholars, experts from all over India.
The aim of the festival was to propagate the concept of creativity, innovation and intelligence among the Youth Pharmacists to exhibit their multifarious talents in a single platform.
The Holistic Vison of this Youth Pharma Festival is to reinforce of vibrant ecosystem and capacity building of Youth Pharma professionals to cater to the upcoming challenges.
The YPF owes its success with the able guidance of Chairman DGI Dr. Manoj Kumar Dash,Managing Trustee Mrs. Babita Dash, all directors of DGI, Principal Dr. Rajat Kumar Kar, organizing secretory Professor Sobha Bikash Swain, Co-Ordinator Miss. Anita Sahoo and the hard work put in by different committee members lead by Dr.Satyabrata Sahu, Dr. Durga Charan Sahoo, Dr. Santosh Kumar Panda, Mr. Pravat Ranjan Guru, Mr. Debananda Champati Singh, Mr. Chandrakant Das, Mr. Rudra Narayan Dash, all other teaching &non-teaching staffs and student volunteers.

Panel speakers Sj. Sanket Kumar Patra, program manager Tech Mahindra(healthcare and life sciences BU), Hyderabad, Dr. Venkat Rao, Professor, Community medicine, IMS & Sum Hospital have taken an engaging session in the legendary talk-show on (Digital healthcare: A way forwards Healthy India).
Panel Speakers Mr. Ratnakar Satpathy, Team lead-manufacturing, Ferring Pharmaceutical, Hyderabad, Dr. Sai Krushna Padhy, chief science officer, Jeeva organic Pvt. Ltd, Sj. Nabin Mohapatra, secretary, Federation of India have enlightened on the feature skill conclave on enabling skill, empowering pharmacist, creating future(Transforming skill landscape of pharmacists in healthcare and industrial sector).

Ltd. in Start-up summit have address the gathering on Updating innovation creating awareness and bridging the gap between demand and supply of healthcare needs in Odisha & sustainable development of medical device and pharmaceutical sector in Odisha.
All the resource persons conducted a very engaging and fruitful session. One-to-one discussion with the speakers from the corporate World has helped the participants a lot to place their views & queries related to the upcoming challenges in their profession.
The event enabled us to achieve our targeted mandate and vision with the active participation of about 50 pharmacy colleges, 1500 students, 200 faculties, and 30 Eminent speakersacross the nation from diversified fields.
