Training & Placement Cell

Objectives

To provide wings to the dreams of the students of DCP and to launch their careers, career guidance cell has been guiding the students to choose right career and they are also trained on different aspects like knowledge, skill, and aptitude to meet the manpower requirements of the Industry.
Regular sessions of pre-placement training/workshops/seminars for students are organized throughout the year by the placement cell. Enlightening sessions are regularly arranged by cell to aware students about different options of higher education at national & international level and competitive exam like GPAT, NIPER and others. The cell effortlessly functions throughout the year to provideto provide resources and activities to facilitatestudents in obtaining placement in reputed companies.As a part of curriculum students of DCP were placed in various Industries like Macleods, Vovantis Laboratories Pvt Ltd., Episource pvt Ltd., Alkem Laboratories, Cipla, Aurobindo Pharmaetc

Apart from Industrial training, other training and induction programmes are also organized throughout the year for shaping the career of the students. As a part of curriculum Diploma Pharmacy students undergo practical training not less than five hundred hours spread over a period of not less than three months at licensed Hospitals/Dispensaries.

Functions

• To invite Professionals from industries to lecture on current practices in the industry.
• To invite companies to conduct interviews on the campus.
• To invite industries to set up incubation centres on the campus.
• To organise periodical industrial visits for students to get exposure to industrial environments.
• To arrange for summer internship for students to get hands on experience.
• To guide students wishing to pursue higher studies in India & abroad.
